A project without a logo yet still needs a tab icon. This pack is the placeholder that looks intentional: one bold capital letter, centered on a solid rounded square, in the 26 letters of the alphabet. Pick the first letter of your project name, unzip that one folder, and drop it in.

Every letter is drawn as a shape, not borrowed from any font's licensed outline, so there is nothing to attribute and nothing to license.

What's inside

The download is one ZIP with 26 folders, A through Z. Open the folder for your letter and it contains a complete icon set: the same file list this site's own tool produces from an upload, generated by the same code.

  • favicon.ico, with three sizes layered in
  • favicon-16.png and favicon-32.png
  • apple-touch-icon.png
  • icon-192.png and icon-512.png
  • icon-maskable-512.png, padded for a home screen
  • site.webmanifest
  • a paste-ready head snippet

No account, and no email address, to download the ZIP.

Questions

Can I recolor a letter?

Not from this pack. Every icon here is a fixed color on a fixed background. Drop the letter you want into the main tool and set your own theme color if you need a different one; it runs the same icon set through with whatever color you choose.

Do these expire or get deleted?

No. That deletion timer applies to a file uploaded through the tool, not to a pack download. Once you have unzipped a folder, the files are yours to keep.

Is a single letter enough, or do I need the full alphabet?

Most projects use exactly one folder: the letter that starts the project or company name. The rest of the ZIP costs nothing extra to include, so it ships as one pack rather than 26 separate downloads. Building from your own image instead of a letter? The main tool takes one upload and returns the same icon set, sized to your source.
