Who we are

Faviconize is operated by the studio named in the footer of every page. More detail, and a contact address, is on the about page. Using this site means accepting these terms.

What you may upload

Images you own, or images you have the right to process. Do not upload anything unlawful, and do not upload anything you are not permitted to copy. We do not review uploads, so this one is on you.

Do not attempt to use the service to attack it or anything else: no probing for vulnerabilities on systems you do not own, no using the tool as a proxy, and no deliberately submitting files designed to crash the image decoder. Report a security problem instead and we will thank you for it.

Fair use of the free tier

The browser tool is genuinely free and has real limits, stated on the pricing page. Automating the accountless browser tool to get around those limits is not fair use, and we will rate limit or block it. If you need volume, the API exists and is priced flatly.

Billing

Plans are monthly and renew automatically until you cancel:

  • Pro, $12 a month.
  • Agency, $39 a month.
  • Business, $99 a month.

Upgrading takes effect immediately and you are charged the prorated difference. Downgrading takes effect immediately and you are credited the prorated difference against your next invoice. Cancelling stops the renewal and you keep the plan you paid for until the end of the period you have already paid for. There are no cancellation fees and no requirement to talk to anyone: the cancel button is in the billing portal, linked from your dashboard.

Usage allowances are per calendar month, UTC, and do not roll over.

Your files

You keep every right in the images you upload and the icon files we make from them. We claim nothing. We store them only long enough to do the work and to let you download the result, then delete them on the schedule in the privacy policy.

What is guaranteed

Honestly, not much, and anyone who tells you otherwise on a product at this price is not being straight with you. The service is provided as is. We do not promise it will be available at any particular moment, and we are not liable for losses arising from it being unavailable or from a file coming out in a way you did not want.

Keep your originals. Files here are deleted quickly by design.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that is breaking these terms, and where it is not urgent we will tell you why first.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that materially affects you, account holders will be emailed before it takes effect.
