Help With NVIDIA Boost Clock Issue.
Nvidia cards won't boost clock if they are running too hot, and will even underclock to maintain reasonable temperatures if needed. You were asked a little further up if it impacted performance and you didn't answer the question. Something screwy is going on with the drivers and how it handles the clock speed. 369.09 -> 60-70c my core clock was 2025, downclocks to 2012 at 70c. 372.54 -> 60-70c All of them. navigate here
Like others have said, a reboot will solve it, but double-check the stability of your overclocking.The driver will not necessarily throw you a TDR ("Display driver stopped responding") error, either. Pc specs: win 10 pro. That and overall my gameplay just doesn't feel as smooth in general. Any one of them could be the problem. I had very consistent scores before the update. The newest Nvidia drivers apparently have tons of problems.That's not an option as he is using Windows 10? Come inside!

Drivers tested - 368.81 - No issues 368.95 - Includes DPC latency fix, no issues 369.00 - OGL Updates, no DPC latency fix, no issues 369.09 - WDDM2.1 patch, no DPC from reading this thread, maybe it is a memory issue. Higher voltage for me doesn't seem to make it any more stable, however. I mean its playable but for god sake my 2010 Macbook pro can run it better.
I didn't test long enough for stability but clocks looked normal. I am wondering if they touched the memory timings which is affecting overall over clocks on the core. But what I showed and claim is that the throttling itself doesn't have any negative effect, it doesn't cause spikes or lag or whatever even if it should happen very often,
For now i'll just try to get stable on the latest driver.

i turned on a custom fan speed chart on MSi Afterburner and turned on force fan speed update on each period but 1/10 times i launch a game it does not
