I tried the suggestion above with the reset/power buttons while I was on the page but it didn't work. Asked the name of the company, "Global Mind IT which is a Legal Partner of Microsoft." I'm convinced that chromebook security it the best feature of chromebook. Use Windows search/find utility to search for netsync.exe, regsync.exe, lanbrup.exe, richup.exe and richedtr.dllIf you have any or all of these files let us know of the location4. In the LAN settings popup you should have nothing checked off. And some pages dont load at all and take one or two refresh s to have it load properly.

At this point, your problem will most likely have disappeared because you've disabled ALL of your extensions on your Chromebook. Again click on the Tools> Manage Add-ons> Find Search Settings among the list and select Disable (or Remove if possible).
