Help Needed! Office 2000 Install Terminates
To date I have not identified this DLL or its links - I'm beginning to think it may be connected. Sorry for the lengthy post but I really need Office2k and some help, no one I have spoken to has seen this behaviour before - hence this post. If the application will not start at all, or the procedure above does not work, try the following: Insert the MS Office Disc 1 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive If setup The following are the steps to take to do the fix this problem by fixing Microsoft Office. Go to Control Panel, Select Office and un-install Office (do not re-open any part of Office after the reboot). Uninstall was uneventful and completed OK. We will work with you to fix even though it is an Office problem. Run the Temp File Deleter a third time.

The registry was successful but didn't cure it. Following this Outlook would not send email(Internet mail). Use Option 2 is far easier than Option 1. Do not open Excel before running the Temp File Deleter again.

Inserting the Office 2000 CD, or the SR1 CD merely brings up the message that "you already have Office SR1". Reboot again! See memory problems for how to fix. Also running Win ME on the other drive. Run the Temp File Deleter, all options. Service Pack 3 (SP3) for Office 2007.
didn't work. Rebooted - no change to the Off2k install. Installing any service pack or upgrade almost always causes bugs in Office.
