Thank you so much for all these advises.I Finally got rid of the virus...JUST IN TIME!Cause I was writting an essay! Any thoughts on what I should do next? One thing though I tried running the reg file on my own PC desktop just because Ifound your site on my machine and I created it in my notepad but it The first two times I just used system restore, the third the virus would not let me.

You should use Rescue Disc to boot your computer. But I can right click on the FireFox icon and click on start and it returns me to the last session that I was on. Followed Patrik's instructions exactly, and worked fine.

ive tried everything. Sorry if you already answered this. click end now ( but some files won't be saved) it says something like that. This worked for me (Method #2).

BTW, I should add that I tried x'ing out of the malware right at the start when it popped up, and that made it load anyway. Thank you so much for this. I think the question needs to be asked "how the heck did this thing get through so many softwares that are supposed to protect computers? Ideas?
