I installed Vista, as a dualboot with XP, using Daemon Tools and I am trying to follow your instructions for uninstalling the same. Then you'll need to format and reinstall XP. @cocoabo: I have no proof or evidence to suggest this, but I think if you just format L: you'll be fine. i am not sure about which files from c: drive to delete(the boot.bak etc).
